Snow tapering off overnight; more headed our way

Posted: Updated:
Toledo, OH -

Snow totals so far have ranged from 0.5" (Sandusky/Norwalk area) to 2"-3" (west of I-75).

Snow showers will continue tonight, but end by morning.  Another 1" of accumulation is possible through 3am.

Temps will bottom out near 20 with southwest winds ranging from 10-15 mph causing some blowing and drifting into the Friday morning commute.

Not much snow tomorrow, maybe ¼"- ½".  Temps nearly steady around 20 with that southwest wind making it feel like 5 to 10.

Saturday's "Clipper" still has the potential to bring the area an additional 2"-4", but the swath of moderate accumulations may be very narrow.  Right now, the southwestern part of the area is in the path of the 4" snow with the northeastern part of the area in the path of the 2" snow.
