Suspect sought in teenager bus stop assault

Posted: Updated:

Toledo Police need your help tracking down a suspect accused of attacking a teenage girl at a downtown Toledo bus stop. It's a story 13ABC first brought you on Friday.

Police say they are looking for a white man in his 30s, about 5'8" medium build, blue eyes and short light brown hair. Investigators say he was last seen wearing a white hoodie coat with red flames on it, a white knit hat, gray sweatpants with jeans underneath and white tennis shoes. Police say the suspect has tattoos on his hands that may resemble Asian symbols.

Police say the suspect assaulted a 14-year old girl while she was waiting for the bus near the Macomber building downtown. Police say the suspect assaulted the girl in the Macomber building parking lot, then robbed her and attempted to sexually assault her as well.

The victim has serious injuries. If you have any information or recognize the suspect, call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111.
