29-year-old Toledo man dies while hospitalized for flu

Another man hospitalized with the flu died Tuesday. The Lucas County coroner confirms the 29-year-old died after spending five hours in the hospital.

ProMedica Saint Luke's tells the coroner's office the man had influenza and pneumonia.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

The news comes after the Henry County Health Department confirmed another flu death.

The total number of regional deaths in the flu outbreak now stands at nine, including deaths in Lucas, Henry, Lenawee and Monroe counties.
