Services set for fallen Toledo firefighters

A Last Alarm Service will be held Thursday to honor Privates Stephen Machcinski and James Dickman.  Both firefighters were killed Sunday fighting a fire in North Toledo. 

That service will be held at 7:00pm at the Seagate Centre in Downtown Toledo.  The public is invited.  No tickets are need, people can just walk up to the door.

The rest of the arrangements for both have been set according to a local funeral home.  The details are below: 

Private Machcinski:    

His family will receive friends on Friday from 2-9 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd) where services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be directed to the Dickman family memorial fund c/o any PNC Bank.

Private Dickman:

Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Church, 29129 Lime City Rd., Perrysburg.  There will be additional visitation for Jamie from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., Sandusky, where funeral services to celebrate and honor Jamie's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Memorials are suggested to The Dickman Family Memorial Fund, in care of any PNC Bank.
