Posted: Updated:

Tiffany Scott (Ottawa Lake, Mich./Sylvania Southview H.S.) scored a season-high 22 points on Saturday afternoon but Indiana Tech limited Lourdes to just 32.8% shooting on the day as the Wolves 68-54 at Tam-o-Shanter.

Scott made 10-of-21 shots from the floor, including 9-of-14 inside of the arc, and added six steals to go along with six rebounds, but offensively she was the only Gray Wolf to tally double figures on the day.

Lourdes started quickly, jumping out to a 14-5 lead just over six minutes into the contest.  Indiana Tech responded though, going on a 21-6 run over the next 10 minutes to take the lead, one the Warriors would not relinquish the rest of the afternoon.  After falling behind by six, the Gray Wolves cut the deficit to two, 28-26, following a pair of Jessica Durr (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton H.S.) free throws at the 2:23 mark, but the visitors would score the final five points of the stanza and take a 33-26 lead into the locker room.

A 7-0 run by the Warriors early in the second half pushed the lead to double figures, 44-30, with 16:28 remaining in the game.  Lourdes was unable to make any charges in the final 16 minutes, as Indiana Tech kept the lead between nine and 14 points the rest of the way.

The Gray Wolves made just 3-of-19 shots (15.8%) from three-point range for the game, failing to knock down any of the eight long range attempts in the second half.  Lourdes also struggled from the free throw line where the Gray Wolves made just 11-of-24 (45.8%).

Tarynn Hampton (Saint Louis, Mo./Alton H.S.) scored nine points, grabbed eight rebounds, and tallied four steals for Lourdes as 11 of the Warriors 18 turnovers came via Gray Wolf steals.  Durr pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds for the Gray Wolves.

Ulyssia Richmond led Indiana Tech (13-10, 10-5 WHAC) with 19 points and eight rebounds while Chelsea Carradine added a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.  Rayana Villalpando tallied nine points and handed out eight assists.

Lourdes (5-18, 3-13) will take to the road for its next two contests beginning Wednesday evening when the Gray Wolves travel to Adrian, Mich. to battle Siena Heights.  Tip-off against the Saints is set for 6 p.m. at the Fieldhouse.
