The Northwest Ohio Knights will hit the field to benefit the fight against ALS. It's a disease that cost the team's former owner and head coach, Dave Calabrsese, his life.
This will be the sixth year for the event which will be held May 17th at Springfield high school. There will be three games that day, with the first kicking off at noon.
Tickets are ten dollars, but for kids between the age of eight and 12 it will be five dollars. Seven and under will be free.
In addition to the action on the field there will be a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction and concession stands.
The team will also participate in a game on May 3rd to benefit Toledo's two fall firefighters. That contest will be played at Central Catholic High School at 4:30pm. Tickets also ten dollars.
