Posted: Updated:

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office has identified the body found in a vehicle in Fulton county on Saturday as 28-year-old Brandi Gonyer-Boaston of Holland, Ohio.

Gonyer-Boaston was reported as missing to the Lucas County Sheriff's Office on Saturday. According to posts on social media, friends became concerned when they did not hear from her and she failed to pick her child up after school.

Ms. Gonyer -Boaston's body was discovered after hunters reported a suspicious vehicle in a field. When deputies came to investigate they found a woman's body in the running vehicle.

Fulton County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Matthew Smithmeyer says the information in the missing persons report helped make identification easier. "At that time we confirmed her identity with some pictures and tattoos."

A cause of death is pending autopsy results from the Lucas County Coroner's Office.  Right now officials have ruled the incident as "suspicious." The case remains under investigation by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, Lucas County Sheriff's Office, Toledo Police and BCI & I.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fulton County Sheriff's Office at 419-335-4010 or Fulton County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-255-1122.
