Doggone adorable Toledo fashion show

Posted: Updated:

Some doggone adorable models are going to hit the runway this weekend and it's all to help dogs who have been abandoned, abused or neglected. "Puttin' on the Glitz for Cutie and the Pits" is this Saturday. The party will feature a canine fashion show and you can even take the models home because they are all up for adoption!

The event will raise money to help dogs that are rescued by the Lucas County Pit Crew and The Lucas County Canine Care and Control office. Jean Keating is the Executive Director of the Lucas County Pit Crew, "Hopefully this event will generate enough money to replenish our emergency medical funds. The Lucas County Care and Control fund is called Cutie's Fund. The fund provides money for emergency vet services for dogs that come in with serious injuries. The Lucas County Pit Crew takes a lot of those dogs and we thought if we did this fundraiser together we could help both funds out and save more dogs."

"Puttin' on the Glitz for Cutie and the Pits" is this Saturday night at Central Park West. Doors open at 7. The fashion show starts at 8:30. Tickets are $60 and they may be purchased at the door or on-line. 13abc's Lissa Guyton will be the emcee for the fashion show. Even if you can't be there, you can still help out by making a donation.
