Findlay flooding prompts road closures

Roads across Findlay are closed at this hour because of flooding along the Blanchard River.

Police report S. River Rd. is closed from Broad to County Road 140.

Howard Street is closed from the Walmart near I-75 to Broad.

Standford Parkway is shut down from Westfield to S. River Rd.

East Main Cross is blocked in several spots, including a stretch from Marcelle to Bright, under the Osborn bridge and from Blanchard to Osborn.

 The intersection of County Road 236 and state route 568 has reopened, but is ice-covered and officials hope to get salt trucks out to take of the issue as soon as possible.
