Lourdes University will meet the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday evening in the quarterfinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament as the league has announced the bracket for the annual postseason event.

The Gray Wolves and Racers will tip at 7:30 p.m. from Racer Gymnasium in Lima, Ohio.

Lourdes, the tournament's sixth seed, finished 16-14 overall and 11-11 in the WHAC, winning their final two games of the regular season.  The Gray Wolves finished tied with Indiana Tech for sixth, but won the tie-breaker by virtue of two wins over second place Davenport.  Northwestern Ohio enters as the third seed with a 21-7 record overall and a 17-5 mark in the WHAC.

The Racers won both meetings during the regular season, beginning with a 64-62 buzzer beater in Lima on Jan. 8.  Northwestern Ohio then downed Lourdes at Tam-o-Shanter 64-48 on Feb. 12.

The winner of the Lourdes-Northwestern Ohio contest will meet the winner of second-seeded Davenport and seventh-seeded Indiana Tech on Saturday (March 1) afternoon at the site of the highest seed.  Other quarterfinal games have top-seeded Cornerstone hosting eighth-seeded Concordia (Mich.) and fourth-seeded Madonna entertaining fifth-seeded Aquinas.

The championship game will be held on Monday, March 3 with the winner earning one of the league's automatic bids to the NAIA Division II National Championship.
