New push to find alleged killer

Posted: Updated:
Toledo, OH -

There's a new push in Toledo to find a suspected killer.  The reward has grown to get Marquis Walker off the street.

Jordan Jones-Harris lost her life last October.  Walker, 29, is accused of the crime.  He's listed as 5''8 160 pounds with a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

He and Harris were in a relationship when Walker allegedly forced his way into her apartment and shot her 6 times.  She eventually died from her injuries.  Police say they've not spoken or caught up with Walker since the shooting.  And now, almost 6 months later, US Marshals have matched the reward money.

There's a total of $5000 available for information leading to his arrest.  Investigators say they won't give up on Walker.  In a murder from 2012, it took investigators just over a year to find Deitrekk Boone and they say they need your help to make sure this case does not take as long.

"Sometime he'll slip up but we want him in custody now.  We don't want to wait that one year and four days.  We want him in custody now.  He's a violent individual.  He proved to be violent.  He shot an innocent person in the back.  We want him off the streets before he commits another crime.  He's that dangerous," said US Marshal Rodney Hartzell.

If you know where Walker can be found call 866-492-6833.  You can remain anonymous.  Investigators don't ask your name, you get a code and that's how you get your money.  Your name never goes in a police report, you remain totally anonymous.
