Toledo has made it on a top 10 list normally reserved for the snow belt and mountain cities.

Out of all the cities in America with 100,000 people or more, Toledo is the 9th snowiest with 84.8" of snow.

Erie, PA has had the most snow with 128.8". Syracuse and Buffalo, NY make up #2 and #3 on the list. Grand Rapids, MI is #4 at 112.6". Billings, Montana has had 95.2" which is the 5th snowiest city. Rochester, NY is the 6th snowiest at 94.6", Detroit is #7 at 90.6", Ann Arbor is #8 at 86.3". Toledo again is #9 at 84.8", Flint, MI is in the 10th spot at 81.8".

    An Internet video purports to show the beheading of U.S. journalist Steven Sotloff by the Islamic State group. Sotloff, who freelanced for Time and Foreign Policy magazines, had last been seen in Syrian in August 2013 until he appeared in a video released online last month by the Islamic State group that showed the beheading of fellow American journalist James Foley.
