Fostoria man shot in leg, police seek info

Posted: Updated:

Police in Fostoria are trying to figure out how a man was shot in the leg.

It happened early Saturday morning on Beier Drive.

Officers found a man who had serious injuries from a gunshot wound, but say they are getting very limited cooperation from witnesses.

Fostoria police posted on Facebook: "It's known there were many more people present when the incident happened and we're asking those people to contact us with any information they may have."

Detectives say you can contact the Fostoria police department through the social media website and remain anonymous.
