Police hunt bank robber

UPDATE 3/30/2014:  Police say Shumaker is now in custody

Toledo Police are hunting for a bank robber after the Charter One branch at Detroit and Glendale was robbed on Saturday afternoon.

Police say just after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, a white man wearing a baseball cap, hoodie and jeans walked into the bank and passed a note demanding cash to the teller.

He then fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

A short time later, officers discovered the vehicle used in the robbery and that led to the identification of 24-year-old Ryan Shumaker as the suspect.
