Schedule Changes Affect Baseball, Softball, and Women’s Lacrosse This Week

Posted: Updated:

As has been the case all spring long, Lourdes University sporting events have several schedule changes for the upcoming week and beyond.

The Gray Wolf baseball team has moved its doubleheader at Northwestern Ohio to Tuesday (April 1), due to the threat of rain in Lima on Wednesday (April 2), when the twinbill was originally scheduled.  First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Racer Field.

Women's lacrosse will play all of its games as scheduled this week, however the contests have all been moved to Ottawa Hills High School due to unplayable field conditions at the Lucas County Rec Center.  Lourdes will host Siena Heights on Tuesday night (April 1) at 6 p.m. and Lawrence Tech on Friday night (April 4) at 5 p.m.

Finally, softball has announced that it will make up the doubleheader against Cornerstone on April 27 beginning at 11 a.m. at Pacesetter Park.  The games were originally slated for last Saturday (March 29).  In addition, softball's doubleheader against Hilldale that was supposed to take place on April 15 has been moved to April 23 at 6 p.m. to accommodate make-up games for the Chargers within the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
