Posted: Updated:
Students at Waterloo Elementary in Monroe, MI, are in need of a new playground, and they're hoping you can help.

They're sharing a video online to generate support.

Waterloo is one of 12 finalists in a contest to win a 25-thousand dollar playground.

It's called "Fuel The Cause," and it's put on by Bridgestone.

Waterloo is one of five elementary schools in Monroe and it has the highest poverty rate of them all, at 80%.

You can vote for the playground transformation at http://www.bridgestonetire.com/rethinkgreen/fuelthecause.

The contest runs now through the end of the month.
