Tawna Whited pitched a gem in the first game for the Oilers, giving up zero runs and only allowing one hit while striking out five hitters in seven innings to earn her 46th career victory.

The lone run of the game occurred at the third inning when Emily Reynolds had an RBI single.

In the second game, Bonnie Zappitelli picked up the victory on the mound, giving up zero runs and zero hits in two innings.

Walsh took a 3-1 lead in the top of the fourth inning, but the Oilers bounced back to tie the game in the bottom of the fourth when Emily Reynolds blasted a solo homerun and Abby Funk knocked in an RBI single.

The Oilers claimed victory in the bottom of the ninth inning.  After Courtney Dwyer struck out swinging, Jackie Messersmith hit a one out double to put the Oilers in scoring position.  Tori Allen then belted the game-winning RBI single.
