Search crews come up empty handed after another day on the water

Posted: Updated:
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources was on the water today looking for two men who disappeared on Lake Erie.
Bryan Huff and Andrew Rose were out with two women on Wednesday for a fishing trip.
The four were out catching fish on the lake in Carroll Township and were presumably on the way in for night, but never returned.
The two women, Amy Santus and Paige Widmer, were found dead in the water nearby the partially capsized boat.
According to investigators both women were wearing life jackets and died from drowning.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources searched the area where the boat was found until approximately 2:00 PM today, looking for any signs of both Huff and Rose.
Both men were skilled outdoorsmen and Huff, a highly trained fishermen and boater, according to his family members.
Rose was a well known outdoorsmen as well and worked as a bartender at Homeslice Pizza in downtown Toledo.
Family and friends are hoping for closure for the families. On Saturday, fishermen helped with the search, spending time looking for the men out on the Lake.
The ODNR suspended the search on Saturday due to rough waters on the lake.
If you find anything related to this case, you are asked to drop anchor, call the ODNR and the Coast Guard and remember to not touch anything.
