The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agents CB Aaron Hester and CB Nate Ness. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
Hester joins the Lions secondary after spending time with the Denver Broncos last season. He was signed by the Broncos as an undrafted rookie free agent out of UCLA in 2013, but has not played in an NFL game.
Ness last played in the NFL with the St. Louis Rams in 2011, and saw action with both the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks in 2010, as well as practice squad time with the New York Jets (2009) and Washington Redskins (2011). An undrafted rookie free agent out of Arizona in 2009, Ness has played in eight career games (one start) and logged five tackles (four solo).
