Tattoo for a cause helps kids fight cancer

Posted: Updated:
Body art fans in Bowling Green got inked on Saturday for a cause... helping kids undergoing cancer treatment.

Broad Wing Tattoos and Body Piercings along with Elias Adin's Comforting Hearts held the second annual Tattoo For A Cause. All of the money raised when to make care packages for child cancer patients.

People had the choice of a cancer ribbon in any color or an autism puzzle piece.

Tattoo artist John Embry said, "I really appreciate not only to be able to create care packages. I'm doing tattoos so it directly helps people. But just generating a buzz to get people to get people working with the hospitals and helping out kids."

The care packages will be distributed in Toledo, Ann Arbor, Cleveland and Columbus.
