Bulldogs Crowned 2014 MIAA Champs after 25-5 Win Over Britons

The women's lacrosse team completed their regular season Saturday afternoon as they took on Albion College. The Bulldogs took down the Britons 25-5 as they rolled to a perfect 8-0 record in the MIAA in 2014 and were crowned MIAA Champions. This win puts the Bulldogs overall record at 10-5.
The Bulldogs took control early in the contest as they jumped out with quick scoring on the Britons as they left Albion behind, 13-3, just 16:36 into the game. The Bulldogs would carry this momentum to the half as they were in full control of the game after 30 minutes, 16-4.
The second half was highlighted by Adrian scoring quickly as they put the Britons behind for good with three goals in the first 10:40 of the half to leave the score at 19-4. The Bulldogs only allowed one second half goal as they added a total of nine on their way to a commanding 25-5 victory.
Jul Tehovnik (10-5) earned the victory in goal for Adrian as she made three saves.
The Bulldogs will see action again in the MIAA tournament when they host Albion again in the semifinals on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. The tournament winner is granted the automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
