Thousands of soccer players from around the country are in Bowling Green this weekend competing in the Soccer Challenge Tournament.

The even raises money for the Bowling Green-based Valentis Athletic Soccer Club.  The event is also a boost for local businesses like Buffalo Wild Wings.

Manager Nate Merrit said, "It's bigger than anything we usually do all year, whether it be draft parties whether it be sporting events. Those rushes come all at once. This is all at once and all day."

The tournament runs through Sunday at Bowling Green State University.  More than 400 teams are expected to participate.
