Three injured in Hancock County crash

Posted: Updated:
Three women were injured in a two-vehicle crash on SR 568 at SR 330 in Hancock County on Sunday afternoon.

The Sheriff's Office says it happened in Biglick Township. Kristyn Bishop, 36,  of Mr. Blanchard was driving north on SR 300 and approached the intersection of SR 568 to stop. She drove into the intersection without seeing a car driven by Maria Kolarik, 50, of Upper Sandusky.

Bishop's van struck the side of Kolarik's car, sending it off the right side of the road and into a ditch. The vehicle came back onto the road and came to top in the middle of the road.

Bishop's vehicle spun around and came to rest at the northwest corner of the intersection.

Kolarik along with her passenger 79-yr-old Nancy Kolarik were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Bishop was treated and released at the scene.

Both vehicle were heavily damaged and towed from the scene.
