Hudson area schools on high alert while police track suspects

Some parents at Hudson schools admit they were a little nervous about letting their kids go to school.

"I think she'll be okay because they're going to lock down the classrooms in the windows and I think will be safe," said Michelle Oskarek a parent.

"I think everyone felt a little more comfortable it was daylight things were more secure," said Dr. Michael Osborne Superintendent of Hudson Area Schools.

The school district delayed school for two hours Friday while police looked for three suspects involved in a drive-by shooting.
Police charged Jacob Christopher Edmond with three counts of felonious assault. It happened at the park on Erie and Tecumseh. one man was shot in the arm. Police say the second victim was shot and fell hitting his head. he was airlifted to a local hospital. Investigators say the shooting is drug-related. Thursday night police searched for the suspects.

"I don't know what went on but we just live out here north east by Posey late and they were out there for a long time last night," said Bob Polling a parent.  

Officers found the suspects vehicle near the corner of Posey Lake Highway and Valentine in Hudson Michigan.
