Dylan Gill (Holland, Ohio/Saint Francis H.S.) and Jared Yoshino (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) each were named to the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Second Team while Danny Bichsel (Westerville, Ohio/North H.S.) garnered Honorable Mention accolades for Lourdes University as the Gray Wolves concluded their inaugural season of men’s lacrosse.
Gill, a sophomore midfielder, scored 29 times and registered 37 total points for the Gray Wolves. The team’s faceoff specialist, he won 108-of-199 (54%) this season and recorded a team-high 121 ground balls.
Yoshino, a freshman attacker, led the Gray Wolves with 80 points on the season. He tallied 38 goals, third most on the team, and 42 assists, most by any Lourdes player. Yoshino also ranked second on the team having recorded 54 ground balls.
Bichsel led Lourdes with 155 shot attempts on the year, on his way to a team-leading 55 goals. The sophomore attacker has also added 15 assists for 70 total points and has tallied 33 ground balls.
Gill and Yoshino were also named First Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference members while Bichsel garnered Honorable Mention All-WHAC accolades.
As a team, Lourdes finished its first season with an 11-3 overall record.
