Triplets graduate from Springfield

Posted: Updated:
With graduation day around the corner, one Springfield Township family has three reasons to celebrate: triplet graduates.

Joseph, Emily and Phil Wood don't dress, the same or look alike and they don't have similar interests. But the triplets will share the stage for graduation at Springfield High School.

Phil says, It will be different. We've been together our whole life basically at school."

The oldest Wood triplet will be valedictorian and he's heading to Princeton in the fall with the goal of becoming a biomedical engineer.

Sister Emily is an aspiring nurse, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She gives her brothers credit for her success, saying the being a triplet has made her competitive.

Phillip has a full ride to the University of Toledo with the ROTC program. The three have played sports together, spent countless hours volunteering and are all youth Jefferson Award Recipients.

When they aren't busy with school, you might finding them hanging out with other multiples at triplet conventions.
