Hillary Rodham Clinton is preparing for a high-profile book tour next month - and Republicans are ready.
They're using a variety of tactics to try to define her and drive down the mostly positive approval ratings from her time as secretary of state.
Republicans also are building an anti-Clinton network that aims to undercut her appeal.
Clinton's State Department record will receive scrutiny when she begins promoting her new book, "Hard Choices."
The book is expected to discuss the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, the Obama administration's diplomacy with China, Iran and the Middle East, and the September 2012 attack that killed four Americans in Benghazi, Libya.
Republicans say Clinton's time as the country's top diplomat lacked any great accomplishment and many of her choices were bad ones.
