War of 1812 comes to life in Perrysburg

The War of 1812 came to life this weekend in Perrysburg at Fort Meigs.

The fort is hosting reenactments of historic battles. There will also be musket and artillery demonstrations along with interactive displays and games.

Acting Director Scott Lonsdale said, "This year is 201 years and we're going strong. We're going to keep this up and look forward to big events like this in the future."

Sunday at 9:30, Fort Meigs will hold its annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Admission is $9 for adults and $5 for children.
