Peter Kobelt and Kevin Metka, members of the Ohio State men’s tennis team, advanced to the semifinals of the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Doubles Championships by a walkover Saturday after Lloyd Glasspool and Søren Hess-Olesen of Texas pulled out of the draw. The two Buckeye All-Americans become the second OSU pair in school history to move on to the final four of the doubles championships.
No. 4 seed Kobelt and Metka will now have a day to rest to prepare for their Sunday semifinal contest, which will be against the winner of the No.15 Francis Alcantara/Alex Sarkissian (Pepperdine) and No. 14 Arjun Kadhe/Jakob Sude (Oklahoma State).
