Golfers turn out to help those in need

Posted: Updated:
It was a hole in one on Sunday for golfers and two local organizations.

Go Mad Fitness hosted their first annual golf outing. The event raised money for Monroe County Special Olympics and the Monroe county Substance Abuse Coalition.

Around 75 golfers took advantage ot the sunny skies to tee off for charity.

Go Mad Fitness Owner Jason Reinhardt said, "We're celebrating our one year anniversary so we thought we'd put something together and what better way to do it than a golf outing. Bringing the community together and raising money for two great organizations."
