Murder victim's family needs your help

Posted: Updated:
A family has taken out a full page newspaper ad asking for the public's help in finding the person who killed their loved one. Retired Bowling Green professor Dawn Glanz was murdered in her own home.  It happened last May in the 1000 block of Kensington Blvd. in Bowling Green.
The case has gone cold and the family is desperate for some answers

The family of Dawn Glanz needs your help solving her murder so they've paid for the newspaper ad.

"No I have not seen this paper yet today," said a neighbor.

This neighbor who didn't want to show her face lives a few houses down from where the victim was killed.  The 65 year old was found unresponsive by her husband in their bathroom. The Wood County coroner ruled the retired Bowling Green professor's death a homicide.
She was stabbed in the head. The victim's neighbor says they were shocked.

"I was out the day they took her body away and we were told she had fallen in the tub or something," said a neighbor.

Bowling Green police have no leads in the case. Neighbors say they have their suspicions who killed her.

"A lot of people have ideas who did it but there's no proof who did," said a neighbor.

Police know there was no forced entry and it doesn't appear that anything was taken from the home. The victim's family wants justice and hopes this ad will bring fresh clues.

"Its just kind of sad that they never found out who murdered her. She was a very nice lady," said a neighbor.

The victim's husband, Robert Brown, declined to comment about the ad. Again police say if you know anything about this crime call the City of Bowling Green Police Division.
