South Toledo's Clarion to come down next month

Posted: Updated:
It's been empty for years. Some call it an eyesore. And two weeks ago there was a fire in it. But today, we're hearing that the Clarion Hotel in south Toledo will come down next month. City officials tell 13abc they've been waiting on funding, and have now set Monday, July 7th, as the day the Clarion comes down. City officials say they'll get bids on the project next week, and council will be asked to approve funding for it. By the way, there is still no answer as to who is responsible for the fire there back on June 1st.
