2 fires at separate Wauseon businesses

Posted: Updated:
The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating two fires in Wauseon that happened roughly one hour apart at separate businesses.

The first broke out around 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Parkview Physician's Group at 495 S. Shoop Ave.

Wauseon police tell 13abc firefighters were able to quickly contain the flames at the business.

As they were wrapping up one hour later, around 8:00 p.m., firefighters got the call for another fire.

This time, it was at Jackson Cleaners, on the 300 block of E. Linfoot.

Wauseon police say that building appears to be a total loss.

Investigators from the state are expected to be in town today to help determine what started each fire.

In both cases, no one was hurt.
