More Ohio drivers make pothole claims

Posted: Updated:
The Ohio Court of Claims reports that so far this year, 256 people have sued the state transportation department.  It's all over damage from potholes on Ohio highways.

In all of last year, the state received 110 such claims.  The year before, 147 complaints were filed.

More potholes popped up on roads in several parts of the state this year, in the wake of a brutal winter.

Drivers have two years to file with the claims court.  The state says about half the drivers who file receive compensation.
