Lourdes University women’s basketball coach Karen McConnell has announced that Erica Davis has signed a letter of intent to join the Gray Wolves’ program for the upcoming 2014-2015 season.

Davis, a forward from Cleveland, Ohio, was a two-time All-North Coast League First Team selection for Holy Name High School after garnering Second Team accolades as a sophomore.  Davis was named to the Greater Cleveland Basketball Association All-Star Team Most Valuable Player in 2014.

“Erica will bring a physical presence in the paint both offensively and defensively,” McConnell stated.  “She has excellent moves to the basket and is an aggressive rebounder.  I am excited Erica has chosen to join the Gray Wolves’ basketball program.”

While playing for the Green Wave, Davis posted career highs of 19 points against Cleveland Central Catholic and 14 rebounds against Walsh Jesuit.  She was a four-year letterwinner, starting three seasons at Holy Name.

Davis intends to study nursing upon her arrival at Lourdes.
