Lourdes University head women’s basketball coach Karen McConnell has announced that Sara Pribonic has signed a letter of intent to play for the Gray Wolves beginning with the 2014-2015 season.
A guard from Johnstown, Ohio, Pribonic earned Honorable Mention All-State accolades as a senior at Northridge High School. A four-year starter for the Vikings, she was the team’s Most Valuable Player for three seasons.
“Sara is an excellent floor general who loves to compete,” McConnell stated. “She can get to the basket, hit the perimeter shot, or find her open teammates. I look forward to working with Sara over the next four years.”
Pribonic was a First Team All-District pick as a senior and earned Licking County League honors in 2014 as well. In addition, she was twice the recipient of the team’s Viking Award.
A multi-sport athlete, Pribonic also was a three-year letterwinner in volleyball at Northridge.
