BGSU Men's Basketball Season Tickets on Sale This Monday!

Posted: Updated:
The Bowling Green State University Ticket Office has announced that the 2014-15 men's basketball season tickets will go on sale Monday, Aug. 4.

"We are enthused that men's basketball season tickets are for sale this Monday. BGSU sports fans should be getting excited for a new era of Falcon basketball and our goal is to create the best home-court advantage in the MAC," commented head coach Chris Jans. "In order to accomplish this we need you to purchase your season tickets and be a part of the action. I know you will enjoy your team's energy, effort, and results!"

There are three options for men's basketball season tickets for the upcoming 2014-15 season.

Courtside seating is only $298 with a $500 Falcon Club donation in which fans will receive a complimentary bottled water and popcorn as you enjoy the game.

Anderson Club season tickets, located at center court, are only $285 with a $500 Falcon Club donation and gives you access to the Anderson Club Lounge.

Both Courtside and Anderson Club seating ticket holders will have an opportunity to pre-purchase different food options, including a dessert and appetizer station at a reduced rate.

The chairback reserved seating is only $167 for the entire season and gives you a great view of Bill Frack Court!

All season ticket holders will receive reduced season ticket parking rates and have access to the Ticket Exchange Program so that you will never waste a ticket!

Also included will be an invitation to a season ticket holder event with the new men's basketball coaching staff.

The Falcons are slated to host 15 regular season home games inside the Stroh Center this season, six of which will be non-conference matchups, including non-conference contests versus in-state rivals Cleveland State and Wright State, as well as an out of conference game against Chicago State, with the other nine home contests coming in MAC play.

BGSU will ring in a new era in 2014-15, as head coach Chris Jans will begin his first season on the sidelines for the Falcons. The first-year head coach is coming off of six straight postseason appearances as part of the coaching staff at Wichita State and will look to put his stamp on the BGSU program early in 2014-15.

The Falcons return eight letterwinners from last year's team that posted wins over Western Michigan (2014-15 MAC Champions), Buffalo (2014-15 MAC East Division Champions), Ohio, Kent State, Western Kentucky, Detroit, and North Dakota, while also taking Xavier of the Big East to overtime on the road.

Of those eight returners, four were the top scorers in 2013-14, as Richaun Holmes, Spencer Parker, Jehvon Clarke and Anthony Henderson all averaged over 10 points per game on the season, while the Falcons also return its leading rebounder and shot blocker in Holmes and both its season leaders in assists with Clarke and in steals with Henderson.

With the return of redshirt junior Chauncey Orr, who missed all but one game last year due to an injury after starting 31 times as a sophomore in 2012-13, and the addition of four newcomers signed by the new staff during the spring, the Falcons will look to make an immediate jump up the MAC standings in 2014-15.

BGSU fans may purchase tickets online now by visiting BGSUFalcons.com/tickets, by calling 1-877-BGSU TICKET, or by visiting the BGSU Ticket Office, located in the Stroh Center, during regular business hours.
