“Eat Out Toledo” campaign supporting local restaurants

Life is beginning to return to normal after Toledo's water emergency, but it might take a long time for some businesses to recover. The water emergency was announced Saturday, usually the biggest night of the week for local restaurants.

Colleen Mercurio says she and her friends recognized how badly the crisis hurt restaurants and decided to do something about it. They started the Facebook page “Eat Out Toledo” and began promoting eating local.
