TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Multiple roads in Putnam County are closed due to high water, the Sheriff’s office said Tuesday.

The office is warning residents not to drive through closed roads, as some are entirely flooded by drain off from nearby fields. It’s encouraging drivers to be cautious and slow down.

The warning is issued for all of Putnam County, though no individual roads were listed.

In a Facebook post, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said the area agencies are working to get signs up but are starting to run out of signage.
