CLYDE, Ohio (WTVG) - Two people have been charged in the shooting death of one man after an incident in Clyde Thursday night. Clyde police identified Deondre Strange, 27, and Jermaine Howard, 24, as suspects in the investigation.

Three people, including Strange and Howard, were injured when officers responded to a call of shots fired at the Laurel Hurst apartment complex on East Commerce Drive. Strange and Howard were inside a Ford Explorer that had overturned. Police then located Joshlyn Bridges, 31, inside an apartment. Bridges had serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Howard is currently being held at the Sandusky County Jail while he awaits his initial appearance. Strange is under law enforcement supervision while he receives medical clearance.

An earlier news release indicated that all three men had suffered gunshots. The follow-up on Friday afternoon indicated only one. No reason has so far been given for the discrepancy.

More than one subject attempted to leave the scene in a vehicle, which rolled over near the southern end of the apartment complex.

Two men and one woman were shot, though there is no condition available for the other two victims, other than that they were alive Thursday night and would be taken to a Toledo hospital.

Police are seeking a warrant for the vehicle and the apartment as they conduct their investigation.
