TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A man has been arrested after police say he shot a man who had just stolen his vehicle on Monroe Street near Douglas Wednesday evening.

According to police, officers responded to the 4200 block of Monroe just before 6 pm, where they found Jaden Goss inside the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Police say he had stolen the vehicle from Demetric Williams, 28, who then fired the gun.

Williams was arrested at the scene and has been charged with felonious assault. Goss was taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
