TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - The 13abc First Alert Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Day for Saturday, March 25th.

Winds out of the southwest will be gusting 45-60 mph from the late morning through the early evening hours. Top gusts closer to 60 mph are more likely southeast of Toledo, closer to 45 mph to the northwest.

The winds will quickly increase late Saturday morning after most of the rain moves out and a cold front pushes through the area. Calmer conditions will return by Sunday morning.

Power outages will be possible, and be sure to exercise caution if traveling in or around high-profile vehicles Saturday afternoon.

Additionally, rainfall Friday night into Saturday will likely total 1/2″ to 1″. That could lead to some minor flooding this weekend with area rivers and streams due to recent rains.

Check back for updates as we continue to refine this forecast.
