Brenna Nye is a multimedia journalist for 13 Action News. Brenna served as an Action News intern during the summer of 2022 and now works full-time for the station.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University with a bachelor's of science in Journalism, a minor in Communication Studies and a specialization in Political Science. She is the third Bobcat graduate in her family.
While at Ohio U, Brenna was an anchor and reporter for WOUB's NewsWatch, and she loved being able to tell the stories of local Athenians. She also worked as a campus tour guide. Her favorite part about that job was meeting up-and-coming students from all across the country and being able to show and tell them first-hand why OU is the place for them, just like it was for her.
Brenna is excited to be back in her hometown sharing and telling the stories of the people within the community she loves so much.
In her free time, Brenna loves spending time with her family and friends, solving puzzles and collecting anything cactus related.
