Justin Feldkamp joined 13abc’s Action Sports Team as Sports Director in January 2016 and moved to the news team in August 2020.
He comes to Toledo after holding Sports Anchor/Reporter positions at WSET-TV in Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia, and WOAY-TV in Beckley, West Virginia.
One of Justin’s favorite parts of the job is hosting Football Friday and Basketball Friday. It’s truly where he can connect with the high school communities all across the viewing area. He was honored as Virginia’s Best Sports Anchor in 2014 and since joining 13abc, the sports team has been awarded the Associated Press Best Sportscast award in 2017, 2018, and 2019. During his broadcasting career he has covered the World Series, NBA Finals, NCAA Baseball and Basketball Tournaments, NASCAR races, the Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, and minor league baseball.
Justin is a native of Cincinnati and is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in Athens. During his years there, he was Sports Director of Ohio’s television station, WOUB and reported for the Emmy award winning Gridiron Glory, a high school football show. He also called radio play-by-play for the women’s basketball and baseball programs for WOUB Radio. He interned at WCPO in Cincinnati and 700 WLW radio in Cincinnati.
Justin prides himself on his professionalism, passion for sports, and his genuine presentation. Justin and his wife, Kimberly have four children...Benjamin, Molly, Jack, and Luke.
