Lee Conklin is an Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter who’s been at 13abc for 28 years.
Lee co-anchors the 5, 6, and 11 o’clock newscasts with Diane Larson. He also co-anchors the 5:30 newscast with Kristian Brown.
His assignments have also taken him around the country and the world. Conklin's reporting includes coverage of the aftermath and recovery in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, John Glenn's return to space, and live coverage of a Toledo business delegation's trip to China, led by former mayor Mike Bell. He’s also reported and anchored coverage of numerous political campaigns.
Lee has also reported live from three Papal visits.
Conklin has been involved with numerous charitable causes and is widely known for forming, coaching, and playing with the 13abc All-Stars. The celebrity basketball team raised over 700-thousand dollars for local schools.
Lee and his wife Lisa have called Toledo home for over thirty years. They have four adult children and recently celebrated the birth of their first grandchild.
