Tune in to fine tune your weekend activities with the latest forecast from Meteorologist Dan Zbozien, bright and early every Saturday and Sunday morning!
Dan is glad to feel right at home in the Great Lakes as he grew up not too far from Toledo in Detroit’s northern suburb of Washington Township, near Romeo, Michigan. He attained his Bachelors of Science in Meteorology at Central Michigan University.
Before joining 13abc Action News, Dan spent a few years forecasting for two other areas resting along Interstate 90, first out west in Rapid City, South Dakota, which has been dubbed to have the most unpredictable weather in the U.S.
Dan then traveled back east to one of the snowiest cities in America, forecasting for Erie, Pennsylvania. Where 100 inches of snow in one season is considered “average."
Besides weather, Dan enjoys playing hockey and watching the Red Wings. He also attempts to play golf.
Next you can find him checking out the local hockey scene and cheering on the Toledo Walleye. Fins Up!
