Firefighters battle blaze at Toledo Refining Company

TOLEDO, Ohio (13abc Action News) - Investigators are looking into what sparked a fire at the Toledo Refining Company.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 6:00 a.m. Sunday, but have since been cleared from the area.

Emergency dispatchers and company officials say no one was injured or transported to a hospital.

Toledo Refining Company spokeswoman Olivia Summons said the fire was contained to one of the company's gasoline producing units. It is not clear what caused the fire, however.

13abc has learned that air quality technicians were out in the neighborhoods during the blaze making sure the air was safe for residents. It was determined there was no threat to the air.
