Explosion at Napoleon junkyard claims one life

NAPOLEON (WTVG) - Napoleon police and fire responded to the scene of a vehicle fire at Hogrefe Auto Parts Thursday morning.

People nearby said it was an explosion that turned into a fire. When authorities arrived on scene three vehicles were on fire.

Napoleon Fire Chief Clayton O'Brien said one person died at this location. The identity of that individual has not been released.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
