Today a lot of enthusiasts are reacting to the big reveal. The Jeep enthusiasts we spoke with love what they see. They say they've been waiting for a new truck for decades, and that long wait paid off with the Gladiator.

The big reveal inside the Toledo Assembly Complex was years in the making. Complex Manager Chuck Padden was surrounded by many of the men and women who build Jeeps, "It's another victory for the Toledo team. The launch has been going especially well, I am looking forward to seeing the Gladiator out on the streets."

Chad Mathis and Keri Porter can't wait for the trucks to hit the streets too, "I would love to buy one!"

Chad and Keri are both members of the Glass City Crawlers, a group of off road enthusiasts. They got an up close look at the truck today and say it's exactly what they hoped it would be.

Chad is excited about the towing capacity, "The Jeep community has been waiting for another truck. A combination of a Jeep and a truck, and they did a fantastic job combining the two. My Facebook has been blowing up about this truck. Every other post is someone asking about it. People are really excited for it to come out."

Keri loves everything about it, "I absolutely love it, it looks great. I'm glad you'll be able to tow something with it. As we all know, Jeep generates a lot of money for this community and a lot of hype for Toledo Jeep is a lot like a Friday night football game, it gets everybody excited. You have to love it!"

In addition to the Gladiator's towing capacity, off road capabilities and technology, Chad says a lot of people are talking about something that's tucked away in the truck bed. It's a heart next to the numbers 419, the Toledo area code,"You have to be happy they put that nod into the Gladiator for this great city of ours. We've been building Jeeps for decades and it's nice to see the company say thanks a lot and put an homage to Toledo right on the truck."

Bob Joyce has built Jeeps for four decades. He says this one is special. He believes the Gladiator is just one more example of the strong bond between the company and this city, "I think Toledo is the heart and soul of Jeep and I think that's the coolest thing about it. As far as the truck, you can see how cool that is!"

It's important to point out that even though the Gladiator has been revealed it is not in full production. That will be a gradual process.
Full production will start next year. Company leaders say as of right now, they expect the Gladiator on dealer lots in the second half of next year.

It is only being made in a four door model. There is no word yet on pricing.
