TOLEDO (WTVG) — Firefighters with Toledo Fire and Rescue are ventilating smoke from a vacant house after they extinguished a fire inside the living room.

The 911 call came in shortly before 8:00AM Wednesday.

Investigators say the house, which stands near the curve connecting Saddlewood and Roanwood, appears unoccupied.

Neighbors tell 13abc the former residents moved out several days ago.

Now, investigators are working to determine what may have started a fire the Battalion Chief described as “suspicious.”
